Heifer International’s mission is to end hunger and poverty while caring for the Earth. For 80 years, Heifer has been working to empower impoverished families by providing them with the tools and resources they need to thrive.
Your donation will help Heifer provide small-scale farmers and communities worldwide with livestock, training, and related services to create sustainable solutions to poverty and hunger.

Mini Mission
Hy-Vee Cash 4 Students
Throughout the year the Mission Possible team is always working on ongoing projects. These are ones that do not have an end date, but that we provide support to as donations arrive.
This month we are spotlighting the Hy-Vee Cash 4 Students program. This is a fundraising initiative encouraging the collection of Hy-Vee receipts to be redeemed for cash and then utilized within that school for student needs. Salem continues to support the VanBuren Elementary schools’ effort to collect receipts.
VanBuren Elementary will earn $1 for every $200 in receipts.
This is an ongoing mission throughout the year, so drop your receipts off anytime in Mission Command located in Fellowship Hall.
We can’t do it all, but together we can all do something.
